There are many trade organizations for home inspectors offering educational and marketing opportunities. 
It is best if you search the trade organizations to see which organization serves you as the client the best. 
Of course, it is always helpful if your home inspection company belongs to the Better Business Bureau.

ASHI
The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), a national trade association founded in 1976, is North America’s oldest and most respected professional society of home inspectors. ASHI’s goals have always been to build customer awareness of the importance of a quality home inspection and enhance the professionalism of home inspectors. 

InterNACHI
The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors—InterNACHI—is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors, providing education, training, certification, benefits and support for its members. InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors® follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year, including InterNACHI’s Online Inspector Examination.

NAHI
The National Association of Home Inspectors, Inc. (NAHI) was established in 1987 as a nonprofit association to promote and develop certified and licensed home inspectors in the professional home inspection industry. Find a home inspector right now using the search button below.

HITA
Home Inspectors of Tennessee Association, Inc. (HITA), a Tennessee State trade association was founded in 1986. In 1988 the first official membership meeting was held. Membership was offered to all property inspectors doing residential and commercial inspections in Tennessee. Affiliate memberships were also started for non inspectors who had an interest in the property inspection industry. Immediately after the formation of the Association, emphasis was placed on educating HITA’s property inspector members on the importance of adhering to a strict Code of Ethics. Equally important was the HITA Protocols and Procedures for performing the actual inspection.
